Paper registration and paper submissions are made using the EasyChair conference management system.

The system requires a minimum of 20 words and at least 2 keyword terms to be entered.

Submission deadline is January 6, 2017.

Please follow the instructions below for your submission.

Instructions for Papers and Presentations

Please use the Templates for Transactions available here to prepare your paper. The maximum length for a finished paper is 6 pages; the bibliography does not count against this page limit. Please note that no pages numbers or other text is allowed in the header or footer areas. Authors names and affiliations should be included in the submission. More helpful instructions to use for submission are available at the top of the IEEE Author Digital Toolbox.

The paper should be submitted in a file named __P.doc (or pdf). Your paper number is available from the e-mails you have received from EasyChair. The slides for your paper should be in a file named __V.ppt (or pdf).

There are no guidelines for slides. Presenters will have 20 or 25 minutes for their presentations and 5 minutes for Q&A. Authors doing poster presentations should bring hard copy of their poster materials to the workshop. The workshop will provide foam board for mounting the materials.

Presentations and publication

Submitted papers will be considered for both oral and poster presentation. All accepted submissions are provided to SELSE participants. Authors will be notified of paper outcome by February 20rd, 2017. Final papers are due on March 1th, 2017.

Accepted papers are provided to SELSE Workshop participants, but are not distributed as official IEEE proceedings. Authors are encouraged to permit their presentation materials to be made available on the SELSE web site after the workshop. Authors are free to use papers and presentation materials at other conferences.

Instructions for posters

All posters must be no larger than 30″ (height) x 40 (width) in size. SELSE will provide tape for attaching your poster to a white board. Please keep in mind that the poster should be easy to read from a distance of at least 10 feet. Participants are also welcome to bring a laptop computer to present an interactive demo or make available additional support material for their poster presentation.
